Rare Earth® Chemically Reactive
“concrete smart" stain is formulated to penetrate
and then develop color deep in the concrete; whereas conventional
acid stains are formulated to etch and profile the surface
for a topical clear sealer.
With Rare Earth® stains the polishing contractor can polish
the concrete to 3000 grit and then stain and densify the concrete.
Or, if need be, the polishing contractor can densify early
on in the grinding process to densify soft concrete and then
stain and harden. It makes no difference to the stain or us.
Things
to remember:
Never assume. ALWAYS test first to determine the ratio for
the slab you are staining and always apply the stain at the
rate of 100 sq. ft. and no less than 200 sq. ft. per gallon
of selected test ratio. Follow all Application
instructions.
